Dr. Brandon Layton is a member of the Wichita Anesthesiology Chartered group located at Wesley Medical Center.
Dr. Layton is a Clinical Assistant Professor and board-certified anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesiology for the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita (KUSOMW). Dr. Layton completed both medical school and residency at KUSOMW and subsequently completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Research
Overview
Dr. Layton has a special interest in quality improvement and perioperative protocol implementation and has completed projects designed to reduce anesthesia waste and shorten pediatric hospital stays after major surgeries. Dr. Layton has ongoing projects designed to track previously uncaptured perioperative adverse events.
