Aung M. Tun, M.D. is a consultant hematologist in the Division of Hematologic Malignancies and Cellular Therapeutics, Department of Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He holds the rank of assistant professor of medicine. Dr. Tun earned his degree from the University of Medicine (1) in Myanmar. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. He then completed an advanced lymphoma fellowship training at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. Dr. Tun’s current focus is on clinical research of patients with high-grade lymphomas.
