Dr. Ajay Tejwani is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He serves as medical director of radiation oncology at North Kansas City Hospital and primarily serves patients in the Northland. Originally from the greater Detroit area, Dr. Tejwani earned his medical degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where he participated in the joint MD/MPH program also earning a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology. He completed his intern year in Jamaica Plains, Massachusetts at Tufts-affiliated Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. Dr. Tejwani then completed his radiation oncology residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital located in Brooklyn, New York.
