Professional Background
After obtaining a bachelors degree, I pursued a Master of Science in biomedical research from Kansas City University with an overall interest in bio-engineering. This continued my interest in medicine and the realm of research. I than completed a medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine followed by residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I completed my Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Stanford University. Over the years I have obtained training and expertise that encompasses all facets of vascular and interventional radiology. Particularly, I have vested interest in venous disease, complex IVC filter retrieval, interventional oncology and prostate artery embolization.

Research
Overview
I believe that true patient care results from accurate disease identification, appropriate clinical decisions and an organized plan between the patient and physician. To provide top-notch patient care using minimally invasive procedures, a strong background in research and new technology is essential. This helps to overcome the vast differences in symptoms that make every patient unique. That is a core value I take pride in and the reason I immerses myself in various research and innovative roles throughout the interventional radiology community.
