Professional Background

Dr. Rajpara completed his undergraduate education at Emory University earning a B.S. degree in neuroscience and induction into the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society. He went on to complete his medical school training at the University of Maryland where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Rajpara completed his medical internship at the University of Maryland followed by Dermatology residency at the University of Kansas Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. After residency he joined faculty at the University of Kansas Hospital. He is currently an Associate Professor of Dermatology and is the Director of the Residency Program. Dr. Rajpara also is a volunteer physician at KC Care Health Center where he directs the free dermatology clinic every other Saturday and serves on the board of directors.

Dr. Rajpara has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles on a wide range of dermatology topics. He has co-authored several chapters in dermatology textbooks and has given numerous poster and oral presentations on dermatology-related subjects. Dr. Rajpara is a section editor of the bestselling dermatology board review textbook Review of Dermatology.
