Professional Background

I am an Assistant Professor and a thoracic, head and neck medical oncologist at Kansas University Cancer Center. I finished my Internal Medicine residency in University of Illinois college of medicine Peoria and fellowship at Kansas University Medical Center. I have done multiple research projects and was awarded "Laxmidas Sawkar" award for exceptional research in oncology. My clinical and research interests include precision oncology, targeted therapy for lung cancer, biomarkers in lung cancer, circulating tumor DNA and young lung cancer. I like mentoring medical students, residents and fellows and I am a member of ASCO trainee committee.
