Current Operating Hours

The Office of Student Financial Aid is available in person and by phone Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and by appointment only on Friday. If you need assistance outside of these hours, email us at FinancialAid@kumc.edu

File Your 2021-22 FAFSA

If one of the following applies to you, skip to Step 2:

  • Students on an F-1, F-2, J-1, or J-2 student visa

  • DACA/undocumented students

Check Your Refund Method

If you are awarded funds, you will receive a refund.

  • For the fastest refund, please sign up for direct deposit.
  • If you prefer a paper refund check, please ensure your Jayhawk address is accurate (https://sa.ku.edu > Personal Details > Addresses).

Funds not deposited within 4 weeks of award notification may be canceled and unable to be reinstated.

Apply for Funds Beginning February 21

Student Financial Aid will send an email to your kumc.edu address with instructions on how to fill out the online student emergency grant application.
