  1. President Biden’s Executive Action canceling up to $10,000 or $20,000 in federal student loans.
  2. President Biden extends the federal student loan repayment pause. There is no interest accruing on federal student loans and no payments are required through December 31, 2022. Payments will resume in January 2023.  
  3. The deadline to apply for the limited waiver for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program is October 31, 2022. By Oct. 31, borrowers with FFEL Loans or Perkins Loan need to consolidate their loans with their Direct Loans first, for the FFEL and Perkins Loans to qualify for PSLF. Beginning September 12th, the Student Financial Aid Office will be working remotely to allow for office maintenance to be completed. Our staff will continue to be available by phone Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Requests for appointments can be made via email at Our anticipated return to office is currently Monday, September 26th.
