Faculty Assembly Overview
The Faculty Assembly provides input on the definition of educational goals, objectives, programs and policies of the medical center, as well as the planning and career development of faculty and support for research.
Who Are We?
The Faculty Assembly is a joint body consisting of faculty of the University of Kansas Medical Center. Faculty is defined as appointed by the University of Kansas Medical Center on any track: at the instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, or professor level by the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, or the School of Health Professions. Each school has its own faculty organization with appropriate standing committees. Faculty must be appointed at greater or equal to 50% FTE for voting privileges.
Bylaws and other important information for faculty are contained in the KUMC Faculty Handbook (PDF).
