Professional Background

I am currently a fourth-year doctoral student in counseling psychology at the University of Kansas. Prior to starting my practicum at KU Medical Center, I worked at several college counseling centers, including the College Experience Program at the College of St. Rose, the University of Kansas (Lawrence campus), and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

I received my master's in Mental Health Counseling from The University at Albany, SUNY. I work with clients from a person-centered, strength-based approach through a feminist lens, believing that clients are the experts of their own lives and that my role is to facilitate exploration and self-growth. I work collaboratively with clients, particularly with diverse populations such as minority groups and international students who struggle with depression, anxiety, and adjustment to college.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy cooking and hiking. I am also a big fan of Switch and Xbox.
