J. Logan Riddle, M.S.
Counseling Practicum Student
lriddle3@kumc.eduProfessional Background
I am currently a second-year doctoral student in counseling psychology at the University of Kansas. My prior practicum experience includes working in college counseling and private practice through the Counseling and Counseling Psychology Clinic at Oklahoma State University and the Focus Institute.
I received my master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Oklahoma State University. I aim to provide a collaborative space to help clients to achieve their clinical goal, utilizing a humanistic, existential, and acceptance and commitment therapy perspective. I have experiencing working with clients dealing with a range of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety, and academic stress, and have clinical/research interest in loneliness, social connection, positive psychology, and the unique clinical needs of helping professionals.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy a good cup of tea, getting lost in a good Sci Fi/Fantasy novel or Comic Book, and spending time with friends playing board games or tabletop RPGs.
