Borrowing privileges are available to all faculty, staff and students of the KU Medical Center. 

Loan Periods

Books:
120 days. May be renewed once for 7 days if no other user has placed a hold on the item.

Exam & skills review books:
120 days. May be renewed once for 7 days if no other user has placed a hold on the item.

Journals:
7 days. No renewals permitted.

Audio-Visuals:
Generally one week.

Equipment (power cords, headphones, cables, etc.):
Generally one day.

Materials may be renewed by calling (913) 588-7166.

Returns

Materials should be returned on or before the due date. Materials may be returned directly to the Library or to our drop box located outside the library front entrance.

The drop box is cleared only once per week therefore time sensitive returns should be taken directly into the Library.

Overdue Items

Keeping items past the due date will result in suspension of borrowing privileges and being billed for the cost of replacement. In addition, a $5.00 Labor Charge--for each late item--is added.
