Support Overview

Why Give to WIMS?

The size of your donation directly correlates with the number of people you are able to help. Even small donations have an impact. Supporting the University of Kansas Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) organization means you believe in the power of healthcare education and in the importance of helping others.

The University of Kansas Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) organization since 1999 has provided women with the tools and opportunities to succeed in academic medicine, nursing and the health professions. Our Mission is to "enhance and foster the professional career development of all women faculty and trainees in the three University of Kansas Medical Center schools:  Medicine, Nursing, and Health Professions.

Here is what your donation will do:

  • Help ensure that working and future physicians, nurses and health professionals have the resources to learn, grow and give back.
