Scholarships

Since 1990, over 50 KUMC SOM women faculty members have attended the AAMC Early and Mid-Career Women Faculty Professional Development Seminars. Many of these women have become leaders in their fields and strong advocates for WIMS. See List of Previous Attendees

WIMS has a renewed commitment to support four SOM women faculty per year who wish to attend these seminars. They are committed to supporting women faculty in approaching their chairs or center/division directors for support.  WIMS intent is to send one basic scientist and one clinical faculty member to each of the AAMC Early and Mid-Career Women Faculty Professional Development Seminars per year.
