In support of the four WIMS mission statements, the purpose of this committee is to plan all WIMS on-campus events and to co-sponsor and assist with events as planned by the Joy McCann Professor. Events include professional development programs, noon-time presentations, receptions, networking/ mentoring programs and social gatherings.
The goal of the Programming Committee is to develop and support programs which are designed to fulfill career development needs specifically related to women faculty and that support the mission of WIMS. The Programming Committee also seeks to coordinate with the other campus groups and offices to co-sponsor events that fulfill the needs of women faculty across all three schools. In addition, the Programming committee strives to raise the visibility of WIMS by programming and co-sponsoring event on campus year round.

The goal is to organize the Annual Awards Dinner and, depending on resources, it is also the goal to offer on alternating years a Leadership Retreat for the Executive Council and committee members.
