Conclusions
- Variation of gene expression among our three sample mice is very low, thus the changes can be statistically analyzed.
- Comparison of our data with known levels in the changes of AChR expression reveal that our results are very consistent with other published data.
- Denervation does not alter the expression of dystrophin or members of the dystroglycan complex.
- The sheer number of transcripts which were altered following denervation reveals that there must be a strong correlation between muscle fiber activity and gene transcription.
