Timeline for Compliance

To meet the state's requirements, we are promoting an aggressive schedule for making information accessible on every KUMC site.

Phase One: January - February 2001

• Internet Development will be concentrating on the top-level KUMC site, working on Priority One and Two items. The site is approximately 90% in compliance as it is, but there are several minor items to be worked on.
• Internet Development will conduct several brown bag sessions for KUMC web developers. We will discuss the guidelines in detail, offer suggestions, and discuss additional resources.

Phase Two: March - June 2001

• Internet Development will assist departments where needed in meeting guidelines, working with high traffic areas first and moving down from there.
• Internet Development will continue to monitor progress of other departments and offer advice and assistance when appropriate.
• All new pages published to web server should conform to Priority One and Two items.

Phase Three: July 2001 - August 2001

• Developers should complete updates to all exisiting pages on the KUMC web site.
