Web Forms With Captchas
To prevent spam being submitted to your web-based forms, you can add a layer of security by forcing users to complete a captcha (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) before the form is submitted to a KUMC email address. We use the ReCaptcha service, which helps digitize books while providing a useful service. ReCaptcha also provides an auditory-based captcha for those with accessibility issues. Here's a sample of what it looks like:

Implementing ReCaptcha on your form is really easy. Just replace the form action described on the Mail Forms page with the following:
http://cgi.kumc.edu/cgi-bin/fauxmail.pl
After users hit submit on your form, they will be taken to a screen that has the captcha on it.
