Instructions and Selection Criteria
1. Use this
application form. It may be photocopied but not changed in any
way.
2. Application forms must be legible; typed or neatly printed.
3. Responses to question must be in the space provided.
4. Applications must be postmarked not later than February 9,
1998.
5. Applications will be numbered and the names hidden during
judging.
6. Applications will be judged according to how well the
nominations exemplify the segment of the Citizenship Pledge.
7. A selection committee comprised of local and metropolitan
leaders will review all entries and select the winner of the
Citizenship Award.
In your opinion, how does this nominee exemplify the following segments of the Wyandotte County Citizenship Pledge:
1. Take pride and support themselves, their family and their property and set a positive example for others.
2. Reach out to their neighbors and work with them to build strong families, strong youth and strong neighborhoods.
3. Support the community by shopping locally, volunteering and being informed and involved in civic activities.
4. Present a positive image of Wyandotte County by their actions, and by speaking well of our community to family, neighbors and to those who do not live or work here.
