Wyandot Development Corporation Minutes (Wyandotte County Economic Development Council)

City of Bonner Springs Community Center, 200 E. 3rd Street, Bonner Springs

Board Members Present: District Commissioner Tom Cooley, Mayor Stephanie Eickhoff, Mayor Joe Reardon, Mayor Clausie Smith.

Board Members Absent: Bob Milan

Others Present: Ron Cobb (Citizen’s Planning Committee), Susan Rohrer (Leadership 2000), Marcia Ashford and Carol Sharp (City of Bonner Springs).

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Smith at approximately 11:15 a.m.

Approval of Minutes The minutes of the January 26, 2005 meeting were unanimously approved on a motion by Commissioner Cooley and a second by Mayor Eickhoff.

Citizen’s Planning Committee Update Ron Cobb updated members on Citizen’s Planning Committee activities.

Treasurer’s Report Tom Cooley presented the Treasurer’s Report. The Treasurer’s Report was unanimously approved.

Host Report: City of Bonner Springs Marcia Ashford, Economic Development Director for the City of Bonner Springs presented the host report. Ashford updated members on new businesses and developments in Bonner Springs.

Information Items Board members provided updates from their respective jurisdictions.

Other Business The next meeting will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, at the Board of Public Utilities.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:45 a.m.
