Wyandot Development Corporation Minutes (Wyandotte County Economic Development Council) 
January 21, 2004, 11:00 a.m. 
Edwardsville Community Center, 696 S. 3rd Street

Board Members Present: District Commissioner Tom Cooley, Mayor Stephanie Eickhoff, Mayor Carol Marinovich, Bob Milan (Board of Public Utilities), and Mayor Clausie Smith.

Board Members Absent: None.

Others Present: Wayne Franklin (Southwestern Bell), Betty Thompson (City of Bonner Springs), and Jim Thompson (Wyandotte Development Inc.).

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Smith at approximately 11:14 a.m.

Citizen’s Planning Committee Update Ron Cobb was unable to attend and no report was given.

Approval of Minutes:

 The minutes of the November 19, 2003 meeting were unanimously approved on a motion by Commissioner Cooley and seconded by Mr. Milan.

Treasurer’s Report;

Tom Cooley presented the Treasurer’s Report for the period November 17 through December 31, 2003, providing an overview and explanation of the annual report, cash report, and payments to The New Century Partnership. The Treasurer’s Report was unanimously approved on a motion by Mayor Marinovich and a second by Mr. Milan.

Host Report: 

Edwardsville Mayor Eickhoff reported that there was no waiting for state approval of bonds and that more would be heard by mid-February, but that she had not yet heard of any pending legislation.

Information Items:

 Board members provided updates from their respective jurisdictions.

Other Business:

 The next meeting will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21st, at the Bonner Springs Community Center. The meeting was adjourned at 11:47 a.m.
