Service Scope and Success

We provide high quality educational support, psychological, and psychiatric services to students, residents, and fellows as they pursue their professional goals. Our approach to excellence in service is proactive, collaborative, confidential, and respectful. All educational support and psychological services are provided at no cost to students, residents, and fellows. Psychiatric consultation is provided at a reasonable cost. Our staff consists of three learning specialists, three Ph.D.-level psychologists, and a psychiatrist. We are available for daytime appointments weekdays and evening consultations on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in G116 Student Center. We provide crisis intervention services on a 24 hours / day, 365 days / year basis.

Last year, 629 students, residents, and fellows participated in educational and psychological counseling and psychiatric services, accounting for more than 4,200 hours of direct service.
