Student Administration System
The University of Kansas, including the University of Kansas Medical Center, is in the process of implementing a new integrated student information system. This new system includes the areas of Admissions, Academic Advising, Student Records, Financial Aid, and Student Financial Accounting – areas that all of you will have some interaction with during your time at KUMC. The system, developed by PeopleSoft, Inc., was purchased to provide improved and seamless service to our students. It is anticipated the system will be phased in over the next several years with as little disruption to daily business processes as possible. While much of the transition to the new system will take place behind the administrative scenes, students will reap the benefits of the functionality provided. The system is one the university can build upon for years to come and will allow for continued improvements in service to KUMC students.
