Eligible employees may receive a waiver that waives the required
campus fee and the difference between resident and non-resident
tuition if the student is classified as a non-resident for tuition and
fee purposes in accordance with K.A.R.
88-3-9. The dependents of eligible staff may receive a waiver
of the difference between non-resident and resident tuition also.
Students who have GTA, GA, and RA positions receive their waivers through
a separate process administered by the Graduate Studies Office.

Who is not eligible
Residents, fellows, student assistants, KUPI, and hospital employees
are not eligible for this waiver. Affiliated corporation staff
members (at KUMC this would be the University of Kansas Hospital Authority) with a 1.0 FTE may receive a waiver of the required campus fee
