Mission Statement

Student Health Services (SHS) at the University of Kansas Medical Center is a department within the Division of the Student Services. We are committed to providing high quality, primary health care services to students, spouses, domestic partners, and children in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner. Valuing the worthiness and uniqueness of each individual, the SHS staff provides treatment without discrimination based on race, religion, color, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, and sexual orientation. Privacy and confidentiality are strictly enforced.

Delivery of health care services is conducted in a manner consistent with the educational mission of the University of Kansas Medical Center.
