Do I need to make an appointment to use the Student Health Center?
Yes, you do need an appointment. You can call 913-588-1941 to schedule an appointment. We do take walk-in appointments during office hours if a provider is available, but it is always best to phone ahead. The staff will make every effort to get you into a health care provider as soon as possible. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time and bring your insurance card to every scheduled appointment.

Does the Student Health Center submit insurance claims for students?
For most types of visits, student health dose not charge fees. Because of this, there are no billing services as Student Health. However, staff does work with your insurance carrier when ordering labs and tests.

When can I get immunizations done?

Immunization clinic is open from 11am-1pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You do not need an appointment. If these times do not work for you, please call 913-588-1941 to schedule an appointment with a nurse at a time that works for you.
