Dear potential or current KUMC student,

I have been in higher education as a student affairs administrator for 20 years and the highlight of each school year is, you, the students. You are embarking on one of your dreams, and the excitement and energy that you give to the University of Kansas Medical Center are a tangible entity. You give us life!

In the future, whether that be a year from now, two years from now, four years from now, or whether you will be a new student or graduating one, you will be making your dreams become a reality. And again, as you always do, you will give us energy when that moment takes place.

We have organizations that you can become involved with, recreational services, and health services, just to name a few. Take a look at Student’s Rights and Responsibilities, which was developed through the efforts of students at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Mission Statement

The Division of Student Services is committed to fostering a sense of community between students, faculty and staff at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Through the provision of high quality services which promote the academic and non-academic aspects of the education and training of health care professionals, the Student Services Staff is dedicated to supporting the Medical Center's goals of excellence in teaching, patient care and research.

The Division of Student Services has many things to offer which can enhance your life while at KUMC. The department is located on the ground, first, third and fourth floors of the Student Center. The primary goal of the department is to provide essential support services that assist students as they pursue their academic goals, and coordinate student services so as to insure that they are efficient, accessible and "user-friendly"
