Student Leadership Development Series

This series is a supplement to the Presidents Roundtable and Student Leader Retreat. Representation at these events is not required for all student organizations, but participation is highly encouraged.

The topics for the 2009-2010 Leadership Development Series were chosen after reviewing survey results of KUMC faculty. The survey focused on how KUMC students could best improve the leadership skills outside of the classroom to aid them as they enter medical careers.

All Leadership Development Series events will be held in the Calkins Conference Room from noon to 1pm. Lunch will be provided.

Fall

Monday, August 24 - Presidents Round Table, 5 - 6pm

Saturday, September 12 – Student Leader Retreat,, 10am - 2pm

Tuesday, October 27 – Leading Vs. Managing, 12 - 1pm

Tuesday, December 8 – Leaving Your Legacy, 12 - 1pm

Spring

Tuesday, January 26 – Presidents Round Table, 12 - 1pm

Tuesday, February 16 – Avoiding Burnout, 12 - 1pm

Tuesday, April 6 – Transitioning, 12 - 1pm

Tuesday, April 27 - Student Leader Reception, SON Atrium 3 - 5pm
