The 2008 Student Research Forum is April 10th and 11th. This year’s awards banquet will be hosted on Friday, April 11th at the beautiful Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri.

There is no cost for research mentors and student presenters to attend, but please note that guests will be charged A MODEST $5.00 ticket price – you may pay in advance at the Office of Graduate Studies (5015 Wescoe – Ms Janice Fletcher) or at the door. PLEASE RSVP to Ms. fletcher (jfletcher@kumc.edu) before April 4th to allow for seating at the Banquet.

We have arranged to have the spectacular World War I museum open to all KUMC affiliates from 3 until 5 p.m. prior to the banquet. You will be required to show a KUMC-issued ID to take advantage of this opportunity, so don’t forget that badge!

The observation tower at the Liberty Memorial will also be open between 5 and 7 p.m., which should offer a wonderful view of the KC skyline.

Cocktails will be available at the open bar beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6:30, followed by the awards ceremony. We will round out the evening with a social hour with cash bar and music.
