Student Registration & Abstracts

Abstracts for the 2009 Student Research Forum may be submitted from 8:00 am January 3, 2009 until 4:30 pm March 3, 2009. The ABSTRACT SUBMISSION SITE is available during the online registration period only.

Submission of your abstract for either an Oral or Poster presentation will be submitted online. Your registration and abstract can be submitted from any computer with Internet access on-campus or off‑campus.

Complete information for submitting the abstract will consist of:

  1. minimum of two authors: you, as the presenting author, and your research advisor/mentor,
  2. title of the research presentation,
  3. a 250 word abstract,
  4. one or more keywords descriptive of the research, and
  5. selection of three to five research topics that potentially could be used to place your oral presentation into a topic session for the Forum (all poster presentations will be grouped into a single late afternoon session).

The on-line process guides you through these requirements, alerting you when your submission is complete or not.

Both oral and poster presentations will be judged by panels of volunteer faculty researchers.
