Application for Degrees

Students intending to graduate for a given semester must submit an application for degree before the following deadlines through Enroll and Pay. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure that their information is included in university commencement publications and releases:

• Spring: April 15
• Summer: July 15
• Fall: December 1

If a student applies for graduation and does not meet the degree requirements for the semester, the student must submit another application for degree for the new intended semester of graduation.

Students who miss the deadline may submit a petition for retroactive graduation with a $50 late application for degree processing fee. The petition must be signed by the student's department and their graduation will be processed after the completion of the normal graduation process. Petitions for a given semester will not be accepted after the semester's commencement date.
