Community Service Day

Project Descriptions:

Bethel Neighborhood Center
Volunteers will hlep clean empty overgrown lot of trash and growth.

Boys and Girls Club
Volunteers will work on several projects: weeding and cultivating garden, assist in cleaning storage areas and kitchen pantry, and paint walls and paint touch up in designated areas.

Volunteers will help clean out VISTA House, currently used for storage.

Hillcrest Transitional Housing
Volunteers will help in the will include weeding, planting, harvesting, tending to the garden structures and caring for the crops.

Our Lady Montessori
Volunteers will help with projects inside and outside including sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, weeding, power wash building outside, bury exposed irrigation lines, cut unwanted vines off the landscape, clean windows, pick-up trash and assemble school handbooks.

Rainbow Gardens
Volunteers will help weed, water, mulch, & possibly harvest.

Rosedale Development Association
Volunteers will help with two projects: Clean out storgae room, move all tools to new tool shed, organize tools and stored items, prepare storage room to become a community bike repair station and help clear a plot of ground that was a community garden...prepare for a park area as requested by the neighborhood.

United Way of Wyandotte County
Volunteers will help prep and paint four offices.
