Register for Service Day

Schedule for Thursday, August 16th, 2012:

8:00am - Student Check in, Fransisco Lounge; a light breakfast and team shirts will be provided
8:30am - Welcome;  Battenfeld Auditorium
9:00am - Departure to sites

Project Descriptions:

Associated Youth Servcices
Volunteers wil build new shelving units, move boxes, organize donate items and files in their storage facility. 

Paint and clean inside walls. Organizing closets and classrooms. 

Cancer Action Inc.
Organize storage room: clean, dust, label shelves and restock supplies.

Catholic Charities of NE Kansas
Clean up the yard at Shalom House.

Cultivate Kansas City
Work the farm: harvesting, washing, weeding and mulching.

Duchesne Clinic
Clean floors, furniture, windows and areas around the clinic.

Hillcrest Traditional Housing
Paint equipment shed, plant garlic and tend the community garden, and clean an apartment.

Reach Out and Read KC
Fill up book bags that will be distributed to children. 

Rosedale Development Association
Volunteers will work in either South Early Street Community Garden or the Minnie Street Community Garden.

Sanctuary of Hope
Lawn care including weeding, hauling brush and tree trimmings. Cleaning inside of the facilities.
