This Nuts and Bolts Guide serves as a general resource to support your organization's activities. You will find valuable information on how to get started, funding ideas, campus policies, facility use guidelines, publicity options, e-mail accounts, webpage accounts, and many other resources.
Please note that in order to remain a recognized student organization on campus, you have agreed to adhere to the Regents Policy on Organizational Membership and the Use of KUMC Facilities Guidelines. All presidents of the organization are required to attend the Student Leader Retreat and Student Organization Orientation; attendance at the Leadership Development Series is highly encouraged.
Under certain circumstances, the KUMC sales tax exemption number may be available. These circumstances include food for meetings, decorations, supplies and restaurants. Organizations may not use the tax exemption on any items intended to generate revenue (to be resold).
