- School of Medicine Hooding and Awards Ceremony, Saturday, May 21, 2005, 7 p.m., Lied Center, Lawrence Campus; reception following the ceremony at the Lied Center. Tickets are required for your guests. Children three and under do not need a ticket. Graduates should arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. Additional information will be sent to you in early May.
- Chancellor's Commencement Luncheon, Sunday, May 22, 2005, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Chancellor's residence, The Outlook, 1532 Lilac Lane, Lawrence.
- University Commencement Ceremony, Sunday, May 22, 2005, 2:30 p.m. March Down The Hill begins to Memorial Stadium. For more information go to the Commencement website. Insider Information: The "best" seats would be at the South end of the Stadium behind the students. Everyone is urged to be prepared with sunglasses, suntan lotion, hats and water. NO UMBRELLAS! Plans are underway to simulcast the ceremony in the Union and Woodruff Hall. Space will be limited, so guests with special needs/handicaps will have priority. Everyone is urged to use the parking shuttle services from the Lied Center and Field House.
- Return regalia including cap, gown and hood (keep your tassel) to the KUMC Bookstore by May 23 or penalty charges will be assessed.
