PDFA Faculty Training Calendar & Registration

• Over 50 professional development programs are coordinated through the Office of Professional Development and Faculty Affairs (PDFA) for all Clinical and Basic Science Faculty Members in the School of Medicine are offered. Many presentations offered are collaborations with or sponsored by other departments or institutes as well providing faculty with all inclusive registration and calendar website in the following categories:

• Writing Workshops (Offered by the KU Writing Consult Center)

• Teaching & Learning Technology (TLT sponsored events)
• Workshops are primarily over the noon hour (noon – 1:00 p.m.) and require pre-registration.
• APA PRA Category 1 Credit is be available for many of the sessions, no fee
• EEDS registration “swipe cards” are used for faster check-in & on-site registration.
  

Workshops for Researchers

• This site is a “clearing house” of all research workshops, seminars, conference, courses and symposia events presented by various departments on the KUMC campus and relevant to our faculty and staff.   At the end of this list there are several links to relevant events in the Kansas City and Lawrence areas.

KU Medical Center Continuing Education

• Programs offered by various departments through the University of Kansas Continuing Education Offices, KU Medical Center campus.
