Elections Committee

The Elections Committee is responsible for the identification of qualified candidates and proper conduct of elections for positions within the faculty governance structure.

Membership

• 3 faculty members from clinical departments in Kansas City
• 3 faculty members from basic science departments in Kansas City
• 3 faculty members from the Wichita campus

Duties

• conducting the nomination process
• preparing the roster of candidates in accordance with regulations
• preparing and publicizing election results
• deciding the outcome if a tie occurs

Process

Must meet at the beginning of the year and additionally as required
