The Writing Consult Center is designed to promote scholarship from the School of Medicine faculty through training in writing skills and guidance on writing and editing grants and publications.
Initial funding of the Writing Consult Center is provided by the Dean’s Office – School of Medicine. For grant proposals a 1% fee is expected to be written into the grant budget. That fee covers Dr. Montello’s time in grant preparation and multiple products - abstracts, papers, and grant editing.
