Welcome to the KU School of Medicine Virtual Mentor, featuring the benefit to junior faculty the experiences of past recipients of one or more of the following prestigious awards at The KU School of Medicine...
Our Virtual Mentors share their advice and experiences, stories of accomplishment and struggle, and tips for academic and professional success. Being a new professor is like being a juggler with too many balls in the air. There is no way you can do it all at once. And there is no way you can do it all alone. Pretty soon you may feel as though there are as many balls falling to the ground as there are in the air.
Here are a few tips for a successful juggling act from those that have been in your shoes.
