Dr. John Gatti is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and based primarily at Children's Mercy Hospital. Dr. Gatti received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery internship and residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. After completing his Urology residency training at the University of Utah, he pursued subspecialty training by completing a Pediatric Urology Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Gatti is a member of the American Urological Association, Society for Pediatric Urology, Society for Fetal Urology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is active in clinical research and has written numerous journal articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of urology. He reviews for a number of urological journals in the field of pediatric urology and has lectured regionally, nationally, and internationally.

He practices pediatric urology exclusively, with special interests in minimally invasive urology, hypospadias, urinary reflux and obstruction, and complex reconstruction in the areas of spina bifida and disorders of sexual differentiation.
