Anne Albert Bladder Cancer Lectureship Series
The Department of Urology at The University of Kansas Medical Center, in conjunction with The Leo & Anne Albert Charitable Trust, is proud to announce the second Anne Albert Bladder Cancer Lectureship Series.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 31st, 2018, the forum will include a presentation by a visiting professor, interactive discussion of difficult or complex cases and a report on cutting-edge research happening here in Kansas. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Badrinath Konety, an internationally-recognized figure in the bladder cancer field and Chair of Urology at the University of Minnesota, will be our special guest.
When Anne Albert lost her personal battle with bladder cancer, her trustee, Mr. Gene Pranzo, was charged to help people in a way that honors them. The Albert Charitable Trust has generously supported Dr. John Taylor's translational bladder cancer research endeavors and has been vital in establishing this annual state-of-the-art educational event on bladder cancer here at KUMC.
