Dr. Niazy Selim, Associate Professor of Surgery, specializes in all areas of gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery and strives to provide great care in a timely and efficient manner.  He is fellowship trained in gastrointestinal and minimally invasive surgery. 

A pioneer in the area of robotic surgery, he was the first to perform many single incision and robotic cases in the metropolitan area.  He is a national and international proctor and mentor for surgeons learning robotic surgery.  He is also a member of many international societies and a presenter at  international conferences.

Dr. Selim was nominated and chosen to be listed in "Top Doctors, Kansas City Finest Doctors as voted by their peers," 435 Magazine, January 2013.
