Department Committees

  • Education - oversees medical student, resident and post graduate educational programs.
  • Executive Committee (department)
  • Faculty Development & Mentoring Committee
  • Foundation Board of Directors - oversees Foundation function.  Works with the Chair to set financial and clinical policies.  Responsible for the overall financial success of the Foundation.
  • Grievance - The standing Grievance Committee is charged to hear any complaints which are unsolvable after discussing with the individual directly involved, another faculty member not involved, or the Chair of the Department.  After completion of a review, the committee will make known their findings to the appropriate individuals and recommendations, if any, to assist in resolving the complaint.
  • Practice Operations
  • Department Promotion & Tenure Committee
  • Quality Improvement - monitors quality improvement reports, develops areas to evaluate, recommends changes and identifies areas of concern.
  • Research - coordinates research effort, projects level of funding to Chair, oversees research.
