What is Radiation Therapy?
Radiation Therapy is used to safely and effectively treat cancer and other diseases. We use radiation to cure cancer, to control the growth of the cancer and/or to relieve symptoms such as pain. Radiation works by damaging the DNA within cells. Normal cells are able to repair themselves whereas cancer cells cannot.
