Curriculum vitae

Dr. Deer graduated with honors with his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming.  He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, followed by a rotating internship at Baylor University - Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston, Texas.  Dr. Deer's postgraduate education included serving as Surgery Resident at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah; completing a residency in Radiotherapy at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah; working in Interstitial Therapy and Pediatrics Radiotherapy at the Institute Gustave Roussy in Villejuif, France; and securing a Training Grant Fellowship from the National Cancer Institute.  Dr. Deer is professionally certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiologist and Oncologists.
