Mitchell Douglass, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Kansas Medical Center and medical director at The University of Kansas Health System Marillac Campus.
Dr. Douglass earned a bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies at Oberlin College before attending medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed the triple board program in pediatrics, psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Kentucky.
Prior to joining the KU Medical Center faculty in 2015, Dr. Douglass was a child psychiatrist and then medical director at Wyandot Center Community Mental Health Center. He also formerly was medical director at Rainbow Services, Inc.
Dr. Douglass' clinical interests include consult/liaison child and adolescent psychiatry, suicide prevention and first episode psychosis.
