Dr. Roopa Sethi is an Addiction Psychiatrist, working in the Addictions Clinic at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She completed her residency training in psychiatry at Carilion Clinic- Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where she served a term as Chief Resident. She completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Yale School Of Medicine. Dr. Sethi previously worked as the Director of Addiction Psychiatry at Southwest Network in Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently involved with the STR (STATE TARGETED RESPONSE) grant sub-awarded to her from the State of Missouri for treating opioid addiction through KUMC. She is also involved with the STR grant from the State of Kansas for treating opioid addictions that was recently awarded to the KUMC Addictions Clinic. She specializes in Medication-Assisted Treatment (Methadone, Buprenorphine and Naltrexone).
