My research focuses on smoking cessation and prevention among underserved populations.

My teaching interests include epidemiology, tobacco control and public health, survey research, and behavioral clinical trial research. I aim for students to have a participatory role in the classroom and utilize team based learning to enhance comprehension of scientific principles and methods.
