Research Interests

Health disparities, childhood obesity, infant mortality, intersection of academia and governmental public health practice
My research focuses on understanding how communities bring about change that results in improved outcomes related to equity, chronic disease, childhood obesity, and infant mortality. In addition, I am interested in understanding the impact of partnerships between academia and governmental public health.
