The Surgery Division of KU Pediatrics Department offers children highly skilled, state-of-the-art medical and surgical services in a warm and caring environment.

Surgery is a potentially frightening experience. Children require a gentle, calming touch. Our pediatric surgery staff is experienced in helping children and families through their surgical experience with a minimum of stress. Our patients' well-being, both physical and emotional, is our prime concern.

We hope that your child will never need surgery. However, if that need should ever arise, you can rest assured that the pediatric surgery division will take the same care with your child that we would with our own.
