Critical Care
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit provides the highest level of care to critically ill or injured children of all ages.
Our division is family-centered and multidisciplinary in approach. Parents and providers from many clinical services are members of a team that provide efficient, cost-effective care, resulting in better clinical outcomes overall and greater success in treating patients.
The unit is staffed by pediatric intensivists, trainees and experienced pediatric nurses for patients 24 hours a day in six-bed unit with an estimated 600 admissions per year.
