Research Focus

Rapidly evolving technologies in genomics, proteomics and metabolomics have been the driving force in advancing molecular pathology and shifting the clinical paradigm towards personalized medicine. Future development of next-generation biotechnology and biomedical devices plays a key role in addressing the critical challenges in molecular diagnostics and personalized treatment of disease, particularly cancer. Drawing on micro/nanofluidic technology, functional biomaterials, and bioengineering, my research aims to translate bioengineering innovation into clinical diagnostics and therapeutics.
